กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนประจำประเทศไทย ร่วมกันจัดงานเลี้ยงรับรอง เพื่อฉลอง “ปีทองแห่งมิตรภาพไทย - จีน” ในโอกาสครบรอบ 50 ปีการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างราชอาณาจักรไทยกับสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในวันจันทร์ที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ (QSNCC)

นายมาริษ เสงี่ยมพงษ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เป็นเจ้าภาพในงานร่วมกับนายอู๋ จื้ออู่ อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตจีนประจำประเทศไทย โดยมีแขกผู้มีเกียรติจากภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมเป็นจำนวนมาก และหลายคนในจำนวนนี้ก็เป็นผู้ที่มีคุณูปการต่อการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย - จีนมาต่อเนื่องเป็นเวลานาน ทั้งรัฐมนตรีมาริษฯ และอุปทูตอู๋ฯ ย้ำในคำกล่าวในงานเลี้ยงรับรองว่า ความเป็นหุ้นส่วนความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์อย่างรอบด้านระหว่างไทย - จีนมีความสำคัญยิ่งต่อภูมิภาคทั้งสองประเทศจำเป็นที่จะต้องกระชับความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้นต่อไป เพื่อธำรงไว้ซึ่งสันติภาพและเสถียรภาพ ตลอดจนความเจริญรุ่งเรืองของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศและภูมิภาคในภาพรวม

งานเลี้ยงรับรองฯ ยังได้นำเสนอเหตุการณ์ทางประวัติศาสตร์และหมุดหมายสำคัญในความสัมพันธ์ไทย - จีน เพิ่มเติมจากองค์ประกอบทางวัฒนธรรมและอาหาร โดยการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกมาอย่างดีและเป็นการผสมผสานของความโดดเด่นทางวัฒนธรรมของไทยกับจีน จัดแสดงโดยสถาบันชั้นนำของประเทศไทยอย่างสถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ของกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทร์วิโรฒน์ประสานมิตร และสถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการปรากฏตัวสุดพิเศษร่วมกับผู้แทนเยาวชนทั้งไทยและจีนจำนวน 50 คนของ DIMOO ซึ่งเป็น IP ที่เป็นที่ชื่นชอบจากทั่วโลกของ POP MART ในฐานะ “มิตรพิเศษของปีทองแห่งมิตรภาพไทย - จีน” (Special Friend of Thailand - China Golden Jubilee) โดย POP MART ได้มีการเปิดตัว DIMOO รุ่นพิเศษสำหรับเฉพาะประเทศไทยออกสู่ท้องตลาด เพื่อฉลองปีทองแห่งมิตรภาพไทย-จีน โดย DIMOO รุ่นพิเศษนี้มีองค์ประกอบเฉพาะที่สะท้อนทั้งความเป็นไทยและความเป็นจีน จึงได้กลายเป็นที่นิยมกว้างขวางอย่างรวดเร็ว

อนึ่ง กระทรวงการต่างประเทศยังได้จัดแสดงนิทรรศการพิเศษเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือและมิตรภาพไทย - จีนเพื่อให้แขกที่มาร่วมงานได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับเหตุการณ์สำคัญประวัติศาสตร์ของมิตรภาพที่ทรงคุณค่าระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศ โดยนิทรรศการดังกล่าวตั้งอยู่ภายในโมเดลจำลองขนาดย่อมของอาคารวังสราญรมย์ ที่ทำการเดิมของกระทรวงฯ ที่สร้างขึ้นเป็นพิเศษ ในโอกาสครบรอบ 150 ปีการสถาปนากระทรวงการต่างประเทศในปีนี้ด้วย

ขณะเดียวกัน บริษัทไปรษณีย์ไทย ก็ได้ร่วมมือกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศในการผลิตแสตมป์ที่ระลึกโอกาส 50 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย - จีน โดยมีการนำมาเปิดตัวสู่สายตาสาธารณชนครั้งแรกในงานเลี้ยงรับรองนี้ ก่อนที่จะเริ่มจำหน่ายในท้องตลาดอย่างเป็นทางการในวันรุ่งขึ้น

ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ได้สถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกันเมื่อวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2518 โดย ม.ร.ว. คึกฤทธิ์ ปราโมช นายกรัฐมนตรีในขณะนั้น ได้ลงนามในแถลงการณ์ร่วมสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตกับนายกรัฐมนตรีโจว เอินไหล ของจีน ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง หลังจากนั้นทั้งสองประเทศได้ประกาศสถาปนาความเป็นหุ้นส่วนความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์อย่างรอบด้านระหว่างกันเมื่อปี 2555 และล่าสุดเมื่อปี 2565 ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้เห็นพ้องที่จะร่วมมือกันเพื่อมุ่งสู่การสร้างประชาคมที่มีอนาคตร่วมกัน เพื่อความมั่นคง มั่งคั่ง และยั่งยืนยิ่งขึ้น

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China co-organized a reception to commemorate the “Golden Jubilee of Thailand - China Friendship,” and the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand - China diplomatic relations on Monday, 30 June 2025 at QSNCC, Bangkok.

His Excellency Mr. Maris Sagiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and
Mr. Wu Zhiwu, Chargé d’Affairs ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok, co-hosted the event. The gathering was honoured by the presence of many distinguished guests who have contributed to the continued progress and success of the bilateral cooperation and friendship between the two countries. Foreign Minister Maris and Chargé d’Affairs Wu both emphasized in their remarks addressing the gathering, that the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Thailand and China was an indispensable relationship to the region. Going forward, it was necessary for both countries to strengthen their strategic cooperation which would contribute to maintaining peace and stability as well as prosperity to their peoples and the region as a whole.

The event also showcased historical stories and milestones in the journey of Thai - Chinese relations, adding to the rich cultural and cuisine elements at the reception. The carefully selected modern blend of Thai and Chinese cultural characteristics are reflected in the stage performances designed by Thailand’s leading mentors in the field namely, the Ministry of Culture’s Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Srinakarinwirot University, and Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music.

POP MART’s beloved IP “DIMOO,” who has been given a unique title as “Special Friend of Thailand - China Golden Jubilee,” made a surprise appearance at the event with a parade of 50 Thai and Chinese youths. POP MART just recently launched a special limited edition DIMOO character to honour the golden jubilee of Thai - Chinese relations, with unique features symbolizing both Thai and Chinese traits. This new DIMOO special edition has already captured widespread attention.

An immersive exhibition displaying milestones of the bilateral cooperation and friendship between Thailand and China, curated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, was also set up at the event to invite guests to learn about the historical moments of this valuable relationship. To create a realistic atmosphere, the exhibition was housed inside the scaled - down replica of the historic Saranrom Palace ― the Thai Ministry’s former headquarters, as the Ministry had been commemorating its 150^th anniversary this year as well.

Thailand Post also collaborated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to issue a commemorative postage stamp, marking the 50^th anniversary of Thailand - China diplomatic relations. The stamps were unveiled for the first time at the event, ahead of its official release the following day. 

Thailand and China officially established their diplomatic relations on 1 July 1975, with the signing of the Joint Communique in Beijing by Thai Prime Minister Kukrit Pramoj, and Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai. In 2012, both countries declared the establishment of Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership. Further deepening their ties, in 2022, both sides agreed to work toward the establishment of the Thailand - China Community with a Shared Future for Enhanced Stability, Prosperity, and Sustainability.
